2021 Year-end Summary
1 A String of "One Year" - Changyu New Year Special#
In the blink of an eye, 2021 has passed, and it seems that I should write something, but I am not prepared for any year-end summary. After all, in the first half of the year, I was busy studying, preparing for the college entrance examination, and looking at the moon. During the summer vacation, I was busy playing, learning to drive, and being busy. In college, I don't know what I'm busy with... but still, let's write something.
The most unforgettable scene of the year was still in the library of high school. There is a skylight on the lower floor of the library, and there are several rows of seats just below the skylight. When I looked up during self-study in the evening, I could see the moon rising slowly, and I could also see planes flying by. And during the self-study of the elective courses that I didn't choose, there were lush numbers outside the window, groups of chirping birds, and the classmate who always sat diagonally across from me. Xi'an is facing a severe epidemic, please take care of yourself.
The happiest thing in the year must be the time spent with my friends. There are so many stories that cannot be left untold when I am with them, such as when I, a student majoring in religious studies, accidentally joined a group of students majoring in materials science and stayed up until 3 a.m. to prepare materials, and so on. Also, the delay in publishing this article today is also the fault of my friends! (I have been using Word for 10 hours today :(
I also made some insignificant contributions in the past year. Thanks to Boss Zhang for providing server support and setting up a "tree hole" to improve the school's speech environment (lol); and thanks to Senior Sister Xiaowang and others for their strong support, buctbase.com has been successfully established, with materials and users. As a developer, I feel proud and satisfied.
I also formed a small team to participate in the "Mengya Cup" competition. There are five students in total who came together because of the project, from three different departments. The idea of the project is simple, which is to improve the efficiency of online courses through text conversion and help realize functions such as searching and positioning. Our vision has even extended to building a community to manage and socialize. I feel that if I can't continue in biology, maybe one day I can become a programmer, a product manager, or a screw in a big company. In fact, it was a coincidence and a necessity to choose to form a team to work on this project. The coincidence is that if a certain classmate didn't invite their roommate or if I could kick them out, maybe I would have cooperated with someone else instead of forming my own team; and the necessity is that as a student majoring in bioengineering who has never taken a biology class, my knowledge reserve is currently not enough to support me in independently completing the entire process from design to experiment to completion. Therefore, I don't have much hope for the A-level natural science academic papers and related experiments in the Mengya Cup. In terms of invention and creation, what can help myself and is conducive to winning awards is to solve needs. As a college student, especially as a student who often watches online courses, I have a great interest in solving various new needs in my online course learning, and I also hope to help others. It seems that no matter how many things I have done since college, I can't escape from learning.
In the past year, my PKM has gone through many changes. This is a long story, I will write about it when I have time, maybe it will be the theme of the next issue.
